FROM THE EAST

"Your faith being well founded ………….."

……….. is a segment from our Ritual that we all know, and it is the topic of this brief message.

Many of you have seen and read from our first Trestle Board of the New Year, and at the end of my message I had a quote" It is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning how to dance in the rain", and then I had added…. "Come help me Dance"

Well my Brothers, last night at the "dance" it was proven that my faith in our Lodge IS well founded, and by your attendance and participation in our activities of the evening, we are off to a fantastic and new beginning for Eastern Star Lodge, and for that I thank you.

We have many exciting plans on tap for this year, starting off with a major fundraising program for the Lodge, Scholarship program and Building Association. We are offering Memorial Bricks for sale at $ 30, which includes engraving, shipping and installation at our Lodge in a new Walkway and Patio that will be dedicated in the spring. You can have up to 3 lines of text on each Brick, and they are perfect for a personal donation, in memory of a loved one, Pets, Children and just about anything else. There is an informational flyer and order form that you can download from our web site, or simply give me a call or send me an email, and I will get one to you right away. I would also ask you to pass this information along to all of the organizations that you may be affiliated with, and to family and friends. ANYONE can buy a Brick and it will help to support us in our good work.

We will also be sponsoring a joint Lodge Family Night on Leap Day, February 29 at Eastern Star Lodge in North Windham, with Family and Friends of our Lodge, Ionic, Moriah, Wooster and Moosup Lodges as well. It is FREE and there will be many activities for the children as well as adults. Look for more info on our site as we get a bit closer, but please do save the date, for a purely Social evening.
